Southwestern Railroad

Brent Courtney’s Southwestern Railroad is located in Magnolia, Texas, near Houston.  It features signaled, bi-directional running for a complete mainline route of about one mile.  The minimum radius is 55 feet and the maximum grade is 3%.  Safety chains are required.  The unloading lift is 14 feet long and can reach a 6 foot height for those cargo trailers.  There are no trackside camping facilities, but a campground is just a couple miles down the road.
